The proper and accurate valuation of work is an essential ingredient to the success of a construction project. Under or over-valuation has a direct impact on cashflow and/or profit and can often be the basis of a dispute. We can provide comprehensive advice, support and valuation services on the basis of our broad skill base and extensive experience in this field. We are fully conversant with the common industry procedures and demands, the various forms of contracts, methods of measurement, intricacies and techniques of valuation.

We can provide a full project valuation service including preparing revenue interim valuations as well as verifying subcontract accounts for payment. We can also provide detailed cost against value reports/forecasts, carry out forensic analyses identifying any areas of under-recovery and/or contention. We have been commissioned by Clients to devise data capture procedures to ensure all essential information required for accurate valuations is identified. Likewise, we have compiled systems and procedures to manage change identification, evaluation and recovery.

The valuation process ends of course with the negotiation and settlement of the main contract Final Account which will involve the conclusion of all subcontractors accounts insurance claims and disputes and we have been fully involved in this specific element of the overall process on many occasions.
